Department of Materials Science and Engineering URL: http://164.67.192.163:81/labmembers.aspx Professor Yang is a full professor of Department of Materials Science and Engineering, the Henry Samueli School of Engineering, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He received his Ph.D. degree in Physics and Applied Physics at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell in 1991. He worked at the University of California, Riverside as a postdoc researcher, and in UNIAX Corporation (now the Du Pont Display Corporation) as a research staff member, before he joined the UCLA as an assistant professor. His research interest covers organic solar cells, organic memory devices, organic transistors, graphene, and inorganic (CIGS) solar cells, and established his group with a world-class facility and highly creative research activities. He has authored accumulated ~150 peer-review journal publications (since ‘97) with altogether ~ 6700 citations; ~30 patent disclosures (most of them have turned into patent applications and being licensed by industrial companies). Prof. Yang has been one of the active scientists in the field of organic electronics.
